Achievements

From its establishment CEDEP has recorded the following modest achievements:

CEDEP established its head office and made functional in June 2004.

•  Support to formation of CBO’s in Dawaki, Yerwa, Bogoyawa and organized capacity building workshop for CBO leaders.
• Established Dawaki literacy centre for Women and Girl-child in Bauchi metropolitan city in Nov. 2004.
• Established Community Primary School in Yerwa Village, Toro L.G.A. and Babar/Bogoyawa in Dass L.G.A. Bauchi State Nov. 2005.
• Built and commissioned a block of two Classrooms at Yerwa village in Toro L.G.A. Bauchi State in July 2006.
• Trained 108 Girl-child literacy learners in Dawaki literacy centre Nov. 2005
• Trained 56 youths on literacy in Yerwa, Toro L.G.A Jan. 2006
•  Trained 87 women literacy/ learners in Dawaki literacy centre Nov. 2006
• Trained 73 youths in literacy skills in Bogoyawa, Mach 2006
• Trained 79 Girl-child of Dawaki literacy centre and empowered them with Micro-credit to start up businesses of their own 2007
• Built and commissioned a block of two classrooms at Babar/Bogoyawa village in Dass L.G.A. Bauchi State in Nov. 2007.
• Established Skills acquisition Centre for youths women and men in Gombe town, Gombe State March 2008.
• Established Community Nomadic Primary School in Kwanan Maje, Toro, Bauchi State in March 2008.
• Established Literacy/Vocational Centre for Children with special needs in Dukku, Dukku L.G.A, Gombe State March 2008.
• Established literacy/Vocational Centre at Lafiyawo, Akko L.G.A Gombe State June 2009.
• Conferred with Award by NAPEP as the best NGO in partnership with the Federal Government in poverty eradication.
• Constructed and commissioned a permanent site for Literacy and Vocational Training Centre for Girls, Lafiyawo community of Akko L.G.A of Gombe State GGP, Embassy of Japan funded Project 2009.
•  Construct a permanent site for CEDEP special Education Centre, Dukku in May 2010 through the UBEC Special Intervention Fund.
• Award as the best NGO in partnership with NAPEP 2009.
• Disbursement of NAPEP conditional cash transfers to 1000 households for alleviation of poverty in Bauchi state in 2009. 2010, 2011and 2013
• Construction of LEA Primary School Kontagora Estate Gwagwalada, FCT a GGP, Embassy of Japan funded Project 2013
• Provision of Solar Powered Lights in Kabo Community, Gurara LGA, Niger State a GGP, Embassy of Japan funded Project 2015
• Construction of LEA Primary School Lambata, Gurara LGA in Niger State a GGP, Embassy of Japan funded Project 2017.
• Distribution of Relief Materials to Displaced persons in Machina and Damaturu Presidential Initiative on North East 2018
• Relief Assistance (Food Security) distribution to displaced communities in Askira/Uba, Jere and Maiduguri to reduce food and nutrition through support of Serve Children International 2018
